Door-to-Door Equipment Export from China to Indonesia – Assembly Line

■ Project Challenges

The project required complete door-to-door transportation services. Upon arrival at Jakarta Port, two 20GP containers (1 MBL + 2 HBL) required coordinated handling. As this was the customer's first import operation, comprehensive logistics and customs guidance was essential throughout the process.

■ Domestic Operations (China)

1. Pre-shipment Preparation

  • Confirmed product list and cargo details.
  • Verified China export HS Codes and Indonesia import HS Codes.
  • Reviewed Indonesian customs supervision requirements.
  • Prepared all required export and import certificates.

2. Factory Pick-up

  • Warehouse pick-up completed on May 13, 2023.
  • Cargo loaded and departed from Shekou Port on May 16, 2023.

3. Ocean Freight Transportation

  • Transit time from Shekou to Jakarta: 8 days.
  • Vessel arrived at Jakarta Port on May 24, 2023.

■ Overseas Operations (Indonesia)

1. Customs Clearance

  • Certificate of Origin prepared before vessel departure.
  • All documents submitted for advance review.
  • Local Indonesian team pre-arranged required customs certificates.
  • Customs clearance completed within 2–3 working days.

2. Customs Inspection

  • Shipment was selected for red-channel inspection after tax payment.
  • Customs identified several old accessories and raised inquiries.
  • Our customs broker coordinated directly with customs officials and the customer.
  • Shipment was successfully released without additional delays.

3. Final Delivery

  • Trucks and labor resources arranged during local Indonesian holidays.
  • Loading, unloading, and final delivery completed smoothly.
